Acer E1-422 is next generation of Acer E1- 421. There is no different physically both of them.
Despite having the same physical, but the driver of both laptop has different driver. This is caused by different specifications of both the laptop.

Overview..
I have ever sell Lenovo IdeaPad S215 in August 2013. Before i sell to the buyer, i check the package in box, but no driver in it. Then i decide to instal Lenovo IdeaPad S215 use windows 8, it because no source link in lenovo site when instal use windows 7.

So, i recommend you to instal windows 8 in Lenovo IdeaPad S215 model.

How to Fix Windows blank after instaling Driver?

Before explain, i will take note the main point 'why after instal driver, my windows is blank'?

It's usually hapenned after instal driver by using Driverpack V.12 (drp). Not every laptop or netbook will have the some trouble after instal (drp). In my experience, i get acer aspire one model 756, Acer model 725, Acer V5-121, and the similar of VGA chipset type.

Why my windows is blank after instal ServicePack versi 12?
Yes, its most important question before i get solve. It because DriverPack (especially versi 12 and lower) is not support to new laptop model. When you instal driver use DRP, the driver perhaps installed, but however drivers not update and not support. So, when finish, laptop will blank and windows is not work.

How to fix it? Need i install new windows?
No, it simple and we just only go to Windows Safe Mode.
Steps
# Press F8 before Windows boating
# Choose Windows Safe Mode (you must success go to Windows safe mode to fix this trouble)
# Go to Control panel home - device manager ( see picture)

# Then, choose Display adapter ( see picture)
Click Right - Disable

After finish, restart computer. Its surely done..
Then, you need to the driver update to instal driver you need. You can get them into official site in each laptop model.

First, Acer Aspire V5-121 is the newest Netbook platform with 11,6 of screen launch in march 2013.
V5-121 is using processor AMD type C-70 APU. It's hight perform mini laptop in its series.

Recently, Drivers for Acer V5-121 is not available in acer site. If you buy this laptop in acer shop, you will get the driver package, you can instal them into the external dvd portable. How if i instal V5-121 by using Windows 8 32 or 64Bit

I have some clients in our laptop service and ask me to help them instal Acer V5-121 using Windows 8 32 or 64Bit. Before, they ask to me, "Can you instal this netbook using Windows 8'? Yes i can, "answer me".
When finish, some drivers instal automatically, except VGA Driver. Then i try to instal using driver VGA for windows 7 support. finally, it's successfully.

Once, Aspire D257 is Netbook platform discontinuing product. When you buy Acer D257 in acer store, you will get the package, like Unit netbook, user guide book, and driver for D257.

More important think you should know..
= When you instal acer d257 by using Windows XP for all service pack, you will get no driver list in acer support. In acer site is only support to windows 7 32bit registered operating system. But, i have some source driver for WIn XP
= When you instal acer d257 by using Windows 7 64bit, you will get any trouble about driver support. Even thought Win 7 64bit run in acer d257, bit the system will run slowly. In this case, i do not recommend you to instal Windows 7 64bit. Keep use windows 7 32bit for safety.
